I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for their advice and patience over the last few weeks.

Subject to an inspection, I'll be picking up a 1992 RHD maritime blue RS on friday. It is in completely unmolested condition after 40,000 fully documented miles with 2 owners, with no modifications other than full Matter cage and harnesses.

It wasn't cheap, but was by quite a distance the best car I have looked at.

I only live 10 minutes from Virginia Water so I'll probably come along.

I think efforts should be made by the RS Battalion (Badger Regiment) to persaude Clarkenstein to avail us all of his magnificent sounding piece de res on the 12th of this month at an airfield somewhere in Leicestershire!

(Do we have pictorial evidence?)

Congratulations! Top car. Was that the one for sale at Eynsham Hall? If so, very nice indeed! And good colour

Yes, that's the one. It sold that day but the buyer dropped out - it seems he was a concours type and was put off that the cage wasn't factory fitted.

Hmmm, could be tempted to come along to Brunters...how do I book?

Stephen, e-mail Craig W - apparently several drop outs have just, well, dropped out so there should be ample room for another annexation special!
