Brake lights.????

Hi,

My brake lights have decided to stop working, where abouts would the switching mechanism be ?

The actuating switch is on the brake pedal.

Mine have stopped working a couple of times and it's been the multi block connector behing the passenger door (behind carpet flap)

I had the same problem with mine, they would only come on intermittently so I undid the micro-switch at the brake pedal lever and took it apart to clean the contacts (easy job as it just clips together). The switch actuation is too long to allow the switch to work. So I found it necessary to put a spacer between the switch and mounting plate, I used two body washers over the switch thread to allow the switch to actuate properly. Problem solved.
