It was about the time my M12 lump went (Around Le Mans time in 2007) and i rememeber there being a thread on one of the Nobility trying to ditch the twin turbo setup and going natural. Did this ever happen? Just curious as i thought it was an interesting idea

the m10 had a nasp 2.5 in it

the duratec is not a high revver so will never make great power

the engine and box from a 3.0 st220 should drop straight in if somebody wanted a cheap transplant

I think an American chap was looking at ditching the front turbo and found the power loss was not that bad. Might be making it up though...

In fact correct. "Hoover" who runs a shop in Californification ( CA ) has done several conversions eliminating the front turbo, with a larger rear turbo with excellent results. Perfect drivability, and much better engine bay heat management. Car tracks well in New Mexico from what I have read. Pretty awesome set up from what I can see !

That one uses one turbo fed from both banks of the v6

i think the cabrio turbo was fed by only 3 cylinders
