How can I buy cheap Krona?

Now that the Icelandic economy has well and truly crashed, now might be a good time to visit. In fact (given how expensive everything is over there) now might be the only time I can afford to visit. But despite media reports that the Krona has plummetted, when I look at online exchange rates it seems that the rate quoted is still close to what it was pre-crisis. Is this their central bank setting an artificial exchange rate reminiscent of communist governments? And if it is, is there any way of buying the ISK at a more sane rate?
