Is it possible to book a hotel without a CC or DC and pay cash when you get there?

I wanted to book something for Sunday and Monday night and just pay cash when I get there but I have cancelled all my cards due to some dodgy online fraud I was vicitim of last weekend and no replacements have yet landed. Any ideas?

I'm sure its a case of, some will say yes, some will say no.

I cant see an issue if you pay cash when you arrive.

Sorry mate I can't help here.

I had the problem a while back having only a debit card. Credit cards are a no, no for me.

I had to use a siblings card to reserve the room and pay cash when I got there. Perhaps an idea?

I have just booked a room at a Holiday Inn online - I did have to give a credit card number but this was only if I didn't turn up they could put the cancellation charge on there. No money has been debited from the card as I intend to pay cash when I get there as well so if a friend or family trust you enough you could use their card to book and pay cash when you arrive...

Hope this helps..

Many hotels will allow one to book with no card; however, it won't be guaranteed past 5 or 6 PM.

You can book without a card on the Accor hotels website for any of their properties, it won't be guarateed if you arrive after 6pm though. However you can guarantee the booking by entering a valid card number, maybe even 16 random digits.

Anyway there are loads of debit/travel cards around that you could use if you can't/don't/won't use a credit card.
