I use Abbey - was up and running in under a week.
No issues in the first year so far.

HSBC have been fine for me, but you hear horror stories about every bank it seems.

Simple requirents - just paying in certain amount of euros every month earned overseas....no servicing required

It took three months for Barclays to open my business account. Following a discussion with someone fairly senior there she disappeared.

They've been fine once I'd got it open, but the bhes suggestion that I got the £20k of outstanding invoices paid into my current account and her failure to understand how this was illegal eventually got home.
