GTR Front hoop symmetry

Has anyone recently got a GTR build under way?
I've had the chassis a few weeks now but stored it on foam sleepers on its side in the old garage, until the new garage/workshop was complete.
Having turned it the correct way up today I could see quite obviously that the front RAC roll hoop has asymmetrical top curves/corners. Although this is not huge, 3/8" to 1/2" difference, I'm concerned as to how close the body fits and how noticable this will be once built. Basically one of the radii is considerably flatter than the other, proven with a quick cardboard template. The rear hoop is perfect and there are no signs whatsoever of damage to the tube before it has been coated?
If the body is well away from the hoop I'm not that concerned (I'll be looking where I'm going) but if its going to interfere/alter the body fitment/sit then I might have to contact the factory.

My front hoop was similar, to make sure there was clearance I cut small oval shaped sections in the double (inner) skin of the roof. I left enough room so that the hoop would not rub on the roof adding to the noise (ha). I then covered the roof anyway so there is no visible signs of any alterations.

I wont worry the body is 3/4" different from one A pillar to the other.... the cills are different lengths etc etc... that's why you prefitt everthing..

The car was not built from a 5 Axis CNC buck so there are going to be differences....
