Brake fluid/handbrake light

I keep getting my brake fluid warning light flicker on (staying on occasionally for a couple of minutes) and was wandering what could be causing it to happen? My brake fluid is up to the correct level and I can find no leaks. Could it be the handbrake sensor? If so where is this and is there an easy way to check?

Can't belive it. I picked up my new T350 today (pics to come tomoorow !) and got the same thing happen a couple of miles from home. I just stuck mt finger under the handbrake so it raised it slighty and it stopped. Consequently it is probably the h/banke switch !

Pretty sure it's the same on mine but I just keep panicking with all the different warnings and beeps etc compared to the Chim. Which 350 did you go for in the end?
I see your E/Anglia - where abouts? would be good to compare cars at some point if you're not too far away!

My brake fluid warning light used to flicker on when braking downhill despite being at the correct level every time I checked the reservoir. I topped it up with a little fluid to just above the line and all is now fine. I assume its because the sensor picks up the different level as the brakes are applied and also downhill.

That might help you but mine was specifically when downhill braking...
