Any one know where i can get a recon wedge diff?

That's something that might be worth getting from a scrappers, or someone breaking a car... at the right price. I think they're pretty long-lived.

I have a good diff, from the car I am braking.
For interest I also had the original diff from my car recon by my local gearbox/diff man for £300

Get one of the classic car mags - look for a place locally doing diff rebuilds .. it's just a Jag diff at the end of the day

If you do get your diff reconed, get them to replace the bolts which hold the disc's/ drive shaft as well. Because you can't change them unless you remove the output drive flange's, which is done on a rebuild!
