...and one I'm particularly pleased with - it's for the missus!
My love of all watches mechanical has now rubbed off on the missus and we decided to get her this...
My main stipulation was that it had to be a 'manufacture' watch and as she has tiny wrists it really only came down to two options - JLC & Rolex. The Rolexs were nice but she preferred the shape and 'duo' nature of the JLC and that fact that it is far less bling - that's my girl.
Here's the pics.
As you open the box.

A closer look for the face that would be mostly used for day/casual wear.

A flick of the face...

....and we have something that is slightly dressier for evening and other events.

It looks lovely on - extremely classy, understated & discreet (when necessary) and it is very well put together. Has a nice solidity to it that can often be lacking in smaller watches. She is very happy which makes me very happy

Wonderful watch. Very pleased she chose the JLC.
Me too - I have nothing against Rolex and have owned a few but it is in a different league. It's a shame that while I do like some of the men's JLCs, they're not different enough from my other watches to push me into getting one - saying that, some of their Tourbillons are rather tasty.

Nice watch, what price bracket are we looking at for one of those?
Just paid AED 24,700 = US$ 6,730 = GBP 4,200 ish (bear in mind that I'm out in Dubai and Sterling is getting a kick in from the US Dollar & Dollar pegged currencies at the moment).Four months ago it would have been around GBP 3,400 but makes no odds to me here.

kers sent you a fake. The real deal has two hands on each face.

You know what? Every time I take a piccy of a watch, it's always the same and I never notice until I've actully posted them up
