Just think before you vote.

The government needs to raise taxes because it is run so inefficiently & this is the problem causing increased fuel prices.

There are 25m motorists paying tax
There are less than 25m people working & paying tax in the UK.

Fuel tax comes down, income tax goes up.

The income tax will have to go up faster than the fuel tax comes down to have no net effect.

I work & love my car.

I don't want to have to subsidise everyone elses fuel out out my income tax payments.

Leave the fuel tax as it is & lobby your MP to get rid of the costly penpushers in government instead

DOH!!! The tax you pay as a worker goes straight to the other millions who don't contribute to society monetarily, but do drive, using YOUR tax money to fund THEIR lifestyle, so either way, you pay!

Total Inland Revenue tax take for 2002-3 was £151bn. Of this income tax (net of personal tax credits) generated £110bn. That's almost double the income tax they took in the year they came to power. Despite this the level of services has (if anything) gone down.

They don't need more tax, they need to be more efficient in how they spend it

No need to worry any more, a couple of days ago I read Tony B'liar is going to introduce a "roads czar" who has responsibility for minimising the impact of roadworks. The salary for the head of this new dep't? Over £100K IIRR. Plus the funding for offices and people to push the necessary pens of course.
ANOTHER GOOD EXAMPLE OF TAXES WELL SPENT BY THIS BUNCH OF WANKERS CALLED LABOUR!
