I have removed and replaced my oil filter to fit an oil pressure and temperature manifold (sandwich plate) on.
I noticed what looks like a bleed valve on the housing that the oil filter screws onto, is this to bleed air out of the oil coolers?
Do I have to bleed this valve after having done this job?
When I replaced the oil filter it was full of oil so no air in the canister,
I can't imagine I would have to bleed this but just want to make sure.
(S2 Exige with PP and SP).

I don't know that car, but it's not normal to bleed oil systems.

Nope! the bleed nipple I'm talking about is definately on the oil cooler manifold casting that holds the oil filter.
Thanks anyway.
