A while ago I promised the wife that I'd buy here a Jaeger Le Coultre watch. Rash I know.

Being new to the flashy watch thing, where can I source one at a decent price but from a reputable dealer with normal warranty etc. I assume that, as with other things, the high street is not necessarily best value, but I don't know which other dealers are kosher.

Also, in the current market what's the form on asking prices vs what I might offer???

Thanks for any help, James

Jimmy, drop me a PM to let me know what you're looking for and I'll see what's available. There's a small UK price increase next week from Nov 1.

Mappin and Webb offered me around 10-12% off IIRC when I was looking at JLC a few months ago (though I ended up buying a Rolex instead).

http://www.blowers-jewellers.co.uk/watches3.htm have a selection of second hand and "pre-owned unused" (i.e. sourced from elsewhere in the EU) in stock.

Gary.

Thanks chaps. Not quite sure on exact model so cannot really ask for a specific price right now. The link to the website was very useful
