Did a nice round trip thursday 260mls to dorset and back.Country lanes a bit muddy so cleaning saturday and thats when I saw the headlight glass completely shattered but still in place.Thank god for sticky back plastic for temp repair,but does anyone know where to get replacement cheap as poss ? Tried search but not working at the moment. Presume its not too bad a job but any ideas or tips on sealant around outside ?

Yes had mine go in Le mans. Completely smashed.

You can obtain new glass from Clevor Trevor or similar Co on the internet. all about the same price. Order a new rubber seal also. Bond the new glass in with Tiger Seal or Wurth Adesive. Also from the internet or good car shop. I also changed the reflector in mine as when I wiped it clean all the mirror finish came off!

Ps make sure you seal the glass in well to prevent the ingress of water.

All done now not too bad a job. Took your advice and changed the reflector as well.Two of the pod bolts had come away from the fibreglass so I bonded them back while it was all out. The hardest bit was to get a neat seal around the headlight. Trouble now is it makes the other headlight look a bit dull by comparison! Thanks for the tips though. Regards, Tim
