Just letting you`s know I have found what I was looking for, getting a cracking S2 soon. How do you post pics on here ?

Nice one Chris, i use photobucket as well, its easier using photobucket if you have an account - easy to set one up if you haven't.

Looks good... and familiar, if its the one i am thinking of its a well sorted one. Did you get it from Newcastle area.

By the way if you're wondering why your quote at the top of your post didn't work - you did everything right it's because M&S has an '&' in the name - it screws things up.

Ian, you are correct it is/was mine. Martin is a good lad and I trust him to look after her. After all that work I wouldnt like to see it wasted and if it wasnt for the NHS being so damn slow I would probably be keeping her as planned. It is nice for me to see the pics of her on here for other enthusiasts to see. I will be sad to see her go but happy that someone else will experience the fun of driving an S.
ps. After getting the mot it was nice to go for a nice blatt (on private road of course ) and feel the improvement in ride quality over the tired suspension pre rebuild. No rattles or clunks, tight drivetrain and precise steering and that lovely exhaust note.................... hang on I'm talking myself out of the sale here! Doesnt matter what I think though, at the end of the day I cant drive her for any distance for the forseable future so at least Martin will benefit from all the hard work. everyone
