Temps/Pressures at this time of year?

Sorry for all the probably seemingly obvious questions but I have a couple more and the search facility is down.
Can anyone tell me what the readings I should be seeing at this time of year and by how much they differ when the weather is warm?

For oil pressure I see a hot idle of between 5&8psi, with between 30 & 40 under load.

Oil temp - I struggle to get over 55-60deg on the move which I believe is due to cold air hitting the sensor? Is the oil temp sensor the same one as used for the pressure? If so I remember seeing someone had used pipe lagging over it to reduce the effects of the cold air. Presumably though the actual oil will be hot enough to not worry???

Water temp I see about 95deg at present - is that normal as my Chim used to run at 70 in this weather. If normal how much hotter am I likely to see it come the warmer months?

Zip, during my outings at the w/end I was getting:

Water 90's depending if travelling or not (98 if sitting ticking over)
Oil 50's travelling; 70/80's when slow/ticking over

FYI I was thinking about lagging the Oil Temp Sensor as will be usuing alot on commute (dual carraigeway most of way !)

Thanks Mike - Had a feeling that would be the case but just after some reassurance TBH. My first S6 engined car and I'm scared to take my eyes off the dials and if something moves from the norm I worry.
Coming from a 4 year ownership of a Chim where I knew every part of the car, what to listen for and what to expect I am know back in the total unknown and it scares me at present.
Mind you for a weekend only car and having only had it for 2 weekends I've already put a further 600 miles on the clock!!

Oil perssure is low, water temperature high. Oil temp is probably ok.

The first two will probably be down to sensors but it would be nice to know what the engine is actually doing!

I would agree that your oil pressure is a little low but get the sensor changed (or the pressure measured professionally)

I know my water temperature sensor is slighty awol (15 degrees too cold, so thats about -8c when starting in the morning and maximum is 76c - but in reality is closer to 90c if you add on the 15c)

My oil Pressure was 4-5psi warm at idle changed the sensor now 11-12psi warm at idle

Thanks guys - I'm going to get in touch with Castle who I purchased from as it sounds like a couple of my readings are a little dubious. The oil pressure sensor was changed at time of sale as on test drive it was readins 3-4 at idle and coming up with a warning. The new one appears to have raised it a little but not by enough.

The water temp also possibly appears to be too high from what you say as well - if it's around 95 running in this weather I dread to think how hot it'll be when it gets warm again.

Hopefully just down to dodgy sensors but we shall see.

Oil pressure a bit to low on hot idle, considering the sensor was changed.
Find out what grade of oil is in the sump and consider thicker stuff if your on 0-40? If its on thicker stuff already i would keep an eye on that pressure.

Careful when quoting oil pressure at idle though. You will find if the car is idling at less than 700rpm or so (recommended idle is 950rpm) when hot that the oil pressure can dip enough to cause a warning.

Thanks guys - oil is 0-40 fully syn and my idle is about 850 when warm.
