Dyson DC08 blockage release valve
Discussion
Hello Dyson owners. Can you help me here?
The blockage release valve keeps popping but there is no blockage. Tube and tools are clear. Cylinder is empty. Filter clean and dry. Cyclone is a bit dusty but I cant see anything blocking holes. Is there anything I have not checked? Does the cyclone bit dismantle for cleaning. Running the machine with the cyclone and collector disconnected seems to stop the valve popping. Or is the valve itself faulty?
Any thoughts welcome, and I have no problem taking things apart, it's putting them back together again that gets interesting!

I had this recently, and have you checked the bottom filter, not just the top one? I ended up replacing both and it is now as new.The blockage release valve keeps popping but there is no blockage.
