I dunno whether to laugh or cry, amazing that there are people out there that think like that and will spout this stuff un prompted.

I thought that was McCain's latest slogan. There does appear to be an air of desperation...

That's hilarious in a deeply disturbing sort of way. If Obama wins (and I hope he does) then they're going to have to up his security ten-fold!

I don't think McCain either needs or would stoop to that level.

There are nutters everywhere. It's just that since the internet they can all communicate with one another.

I typed in "Salad" and "Revelations 13" and came up with over three hundred hits...

McCain hasnt said it himself, however his campaign has been linking Obama to terrorism since the outset, just look at the "robocalls" that have been made over the past couple of weeks.

Like I said in another thread on here, even the suggestion that Obama is a mooselimb is enough to put some american voters off.

I think it's because he says he's a Christian yet believes in abortion rights and tolerates Homosexuality, which is clearly against the Bible. Obama ought to just be honest and admit he's not a Christian.

Oh dear. Does every Christian have to follow every statement in the bible to the letter? How do you reconcile Catholics with Protestants - which are true Christians?

The US Presidential elections are nothing more than a personal slanging match between 2 sides who are trying to dish up enough dirt on the other to take the votes of the undecideds, since most voters will always vote either Republican or Democrat no matter who the candidates are.

Fact is the best leader needs to have a bit of dirt on them, someone too clean will be walked over by aggressive national leaders and someone with a lot of "history" is likely to be a loose cannon.

Then again the President has so many advisers at his command that he will never do anything himself, only have the final say on an act. Of course this assumes it gets through the senate which might be majority controlled by the other party.

And that's not even mentioning all the business contracts that are given to supporters of the winning team......oh I just have.

So Anti-christ or the new coming? Makes no difference really, we all know that both will last about 6-12 months max, Obama becoming a target of white supremacists and McCain falling over of natural causes. So if voting you have to look at the vice-presidents, those that will take over. Your choices being elderly Joe Biden or the Alaskan Moose hunter Sarah Palin.

Is there a "none of the above" option?

Agreed, I wasnt aware that being pro-abortion and christian were mutually exclusive positions.

And besides, if he is a muslim he's certainly gone to some lengths to cover it up, being a long time churchgoer.

[tinfoil hat mode]
who knows, perhaps it was all a conspiracy to make him look christian before he was made president by the NWO/Illuminati/Lizards

Clearly the Devil is a f*ckwit if he made the descision to make his earthly manifestation a blackman!!! Surely, you'd go white, rich, well connected, kind of like a Bush?

Is there anywhere you can bet on how long Obama lasts without getting his head blown off? I can't imagine certain parts of the USA putting up with a 'Negro' in charge for very long.

Sounds like a statement by a papist to me. Or even from one of the religion channels on Sky...

Go and see if a bookie will give you odds. It might be in bad taste but it'd be a larf to see what they gave you.

I've been saying this all along.

If elected Obama will be dead come Spring, or at least an attempt will be made on his life.

As far as the antichrist goes I thought it went:

People find the strangest excuses to follow the crowd. The suggestion that such a Christian nutter would vote for anyone except for the Republicans is crazy.

Really this is about what you would expect from the Guardian, isn't it? Besides, you can find people who won't vote for McCain because they blame the current economic situation on him.

I'd be a little surprised.

The types who would want to try would be a fairly poor match against the Secret Service and associated agencies.

Lots of talk about it over moonshine and pictures of pick ups, but very little action, I suspect.
