PH is dedicated to everything cars. Are there forums dedicated to everything small business?

yep lots, google it. Personally they are just full of people trying to flog you something. The business section of PH (the bit you are on now) is more like a community. Buying and selling each others services takes place but its not the sole intention of it.

LinkedIn - for professional types.
Ecademy - for one-man bands and yoghurt-weavers.

UKBF can be quite useful sometimes, but gets a lot of

wannabes = how do a start a business on £10?
scammers = send me your £10 and I'll show you how to start a business
no hopers = I started a business on £10 and haven't made any money back
chancers = as a professional consultant I could turn your business around for £10
bullstters = I once started a business on .10p, now its worth millions

Expect any question you post to get a load of thinly disguised responses pitching for the work.

... you need to go through a lot of this sort of stuff to find the 1 in a 100 useful/gold nugget.

Yeah, I've signed up over on UKBF, seems quite useful. Full of people touting for business though!

You have to ask yourself - if you were looking for someone providing the goods or service that you provide, would you use a business forum?
