Custom Exhaust?
Discussion
The back box fell off my Dads W140 500se.
An exhaust place in Leeds quoted £400ish + vat, not sure if fitting is included for the back and middle section. We will probably get a price from the merc specialist its serviced to replace it with genuine merc parts but it quite pricy there, however would it be better getting a custom stainless steel one made instead.
It has a kind of odd 2 pipe arrangement atleast at the back where 2 seperate pipes go into the backbox seperate, so not sure if it would need the exhaust to start from quite near the engine.
Anyone got anywhere we could try out in the Leeds area?
Thanks.

You could try www.exhaustsuk.co.uk
If you can see past their hideous website, they do actually make good quality systems and are only based in Sheffield. I know a couple of people that have had them make systems for the new S3 and they really are much better than the website would suggest.

Trickie Dickie has had work carried out there and I've sent numerous friends in their direction.
If you can see past the Pimp My Ride association, it's fine. Their service is nothing but fantastic, their craftsmanship is brilliant, very knowledgeable and good value

Quite why, I'm not so sure as they've never touched it. The previous owner knew them though.

If you want I could bring the car over to you and you could take some pictures of the car in the garage for on your site as you made such a good job of the oil change on it for me.... and of bullying me!

Try Tony Banks, local Longlife franchise on Tong Road. Really nice fella and the quality of his workmanship is excellent...and prices to suit a Yorkshireman!!!
Thanks for replying but we had already left for Sheffield so didn't get this til we got back after having it done. But will bear them in mind incase something a bit closer is required at some stage, thanks.Gassing Station | Yorkshire | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
