'T' Pull Cables Rusting up
Discussion
This might be worth checking!!
Noticed that one of my 'T' pull cables was getting very stiff when trying to release one of the rear clip catches.
Took it apart last night and discovered the cable was rusting quite badly which could eventually lead to it seizing or breaking.
I think the cause of this is water running down inbetween the gap when the clip is closed and drips onto the cable then runs down it until it finds the lowest point.
I am going to cover the cable with some flexible tubing to prevent the water running onto it.
Cheers,
Martin
