Is winter already here, who's skiing holiday is planned?

Hello all,
After reading here for a number of weeks, I finally have taken the dive to participate.
I currently live in Hampshire and both myself and my partner are looking to go skiing this year after so much talking about it for a while.
Who has booked their holiday already and to which destination. I appreciate your tips as we would both like to have guaranteed snow if possible.

Booked our ski trip last week, group of us heading to Meribel in Jan, can't wait!
Been to Val D'Isere, Les Arcs (twice) and La Rosiere and been lucky with the snow every time. I tend to try and go mid Jan time, cheapest and generally good snow. Also good for helping the month fly by!

getting married on the 30th November and then racing back to the Alps for the start of the season and a 22week skiing honeymoon!!
Seriously though, Les Carroz is great, less than an hour from Geneva in the 4th largest ski domain in the world and when you check the stats a snow record a lot of higher resorts envy.
I am biased and will give all PHrs a great rate and a great time.

Lake Tahoe - end March/begin April
timeshare reserved and flights to SFO booked
and in a timely fashion, got US Property Tax demand in the post today...in dollars...
Not yet booked, but a weekend or two in the alps planned for February.
...and anytime there's snow on the hills in Scotland (1.5 hour drive to Glenshee, 2 hours to Cairngorn, 2.5 to Nevis Range).
Rumours that there may be some lifts running at Glenshee this weekend

I'm off away to Tignes this Sunday for a few days on the Glacier. Also booked in Tignes again first week in December.
Over Christmas and New Year I will be in the French Pyrenees, maybe a trip over to Andorra if good.
Haven't booked anything else yet. But probably do a big trip in Jan and a big trip in March. All suggestions welcome.

It's not very often that I feel real and genuine jealousy but you are all a bunch of b

I can't go skiing next year for the first time in a long time and am seriously upset and pissed off about it.
To make matters worse, I had my best ever ski holiday this year, my skiing seemed to come together, we had bright sunshine everyday, but it snowed every night giving the best conditions I've ever experienced. All the boys were there and the Mrs stayed at home as she was heavily pregnant (missed her of course!!). Drove down in my mates brand new Range Rover and stayed in Beaune on the way as always.
In response to the OP - Courchevel 1850, France. High up so good snow but not so high that it's like a moonscape, has protection from the trees when the weather closes in, good bars, parking, food, hotels and is reasonably nice looking...
