Why do PH threads run upside down?

Does anyone else find this annoying?

Is there a technical reason for this?

Whenever I open a thread I want to know what it's about so surely this should be at the front and then the rest of the pages track through the history, rather than reading posts backwards.

Maybe it's just me. Sorry!

Its you!! change is possible in 'my info'/Profile options/preferences.

Go into my info, at the bottom is preferences, which gives you ascending or descending, change it to whichever one it isnt on at the moment

Another good thing is to make the pages longer.

I can't understand why everyone doesn't have it set to 80 per page.

I agree, although it does make it a bit difficult to reference a page (e.g. "there was a post on page 5" which of course could be page 5 if you have 80 per page but page 20 if you have 20 per page).

Yes but easier to read if you don't have to keep changing the damn page.
