Has anyone else had problems trying to get a refund from Orange.

I'm a premier customer for what thats worth and I have been waiting from the 28th August for a refund of overpayment.

Yet again someone has tried to fob me off with "it will be another 7 days"

Is there anything I can do or am I one of the masses who they have over a barrel?

This is what has happened but this has been going on for ages.

But to ring up on Friday and for them to say you money will be in your account on Monday to now its going to take another 7 days this is poor customer service again since the 28 August.

I have seen other stories on here about Orange but I have never had a problem.

Sorry, just a tad angry.

And relax

I'm PAYG with Orange and in August they took £50 off my credit card one day, then the same the next day - which was also when I added £5 credit to my phone. As I didn't want or get £105 credit I called them three times to get sorted (25p each time!) and also faxed my credit card statement to them - nothing doing so I've now asked my credit card to get the money back.

I had an overpayment issue, and they refunded. Took them about 3 weeks to do it, but were very apologetic.

Yep, they charged me 3 months broadband for a few days (Cancelled it within cooling off period as the speeds were horrendous - apparently this was because of my phone line, yet Be* now give me 500kb/s constant rather than the 10kb/s I got with Orange). Took them a further 6 months to refund it after numerous phone calls and letters.

Good News

I got my refund and also asked for my complaint to be raised to a more senior level.

Just got a call from Orange , for the next two months I will not pay for my bill for compensation to the bad service I have received since March on my account.

So, dont these mobilbe companies , fob you off, your the customer.

Dont get me started. Every single month this year i've had to phone them about something.

Worst service ever in the history of everything.

No, I have the senior customer service managers direct number and he is also going to call me on the 26th of each month for the next three months as a follow up.

I think they all have the message Im not to be messed around with now.
They did offer to cancel my contact there and then which has well over twelve months to run if I wished.

Been a customer since 1998, All this started since I upgraded in March.
Never had any issues before this.

How did I miss that!!! hmmmmmm.... well as long as they are giving it back now! Having said that, I wouldn't have been able to chase it up for you when i'm next in work, as you would have to be there to confirm your details... However, if they let you down again!! Go into an Orange shop and get one of the Sales advisor's to ring for you. Things generally get done when we ring our customers services, and promises get note padded.

Just read the above post... good darts getting that...

Sorry to say mate the shop at canary wharf and the customer service girls when I rang them 4 times where a total waste of space to the point where the last one said the money will be in your account on monday and it wasnt, complete lie on her part. It hadnt been raised at all!

Thanks to the shop at canary wharf I lost all my numbers on my phone and they didnt even get the request for activation correct 48 hours with no phone.

I would urge everyone who has problems to stick to your guns and taken them on, ask for someone in authority. Everyone should receive good service.

Anyway I'm happy
