Please Help As I'm Running The London Marathon??

[W8PMC]

As some of you know, i'm not known for my athletic prowess, however i've managed to get a place in the 2009 Flora London Marathon, so i'm now on the scrounge for sponsorship.

I hate running & have never run further than the pub or very short distances to avoid getting wet. I have 6 months to go from being a non runner to a marathon runner, so any advice or pointers would be gratefully received?

Please help me on my way with your generosity?

TIA.
