A police spokesman said: "He tried to recreate the Italian Job – but in the film they don't get caught."

The spokesman must have struggled to keep a straight face

I can almost picture this pratt driving at some steps and nearly going through the windscreen as the car fails to mount the first step bursting the tyres & radiator setting off the air bags.

I bet they try and claim this on the warranty as well rolleyes

Nobody should be driving a £10k car at university, unless they've been out and earned the money themselves - and even then, they should probably find something better to spend it on....

Well, there will always be those that have the means to do so, and there will always be those that don't. I don't, but I'd love to smile

Presumably the staircase was on private land, in which case I can't see that 'drink driving' would apply.

I'm not a lawyer.

Obviously.

Jesus wept. What a spoilt dick.

My first car was a Chevette estate and I paid for it myself, even the mattress in the back.
