I can't seem to find a parcel company that could ship a bike (still unopened in it's original box), from the UK to Austria.

From reading the bike geometry, I'm guessing the box will weigh about 16kg, be about 160cm x 80cm x 25cm in dimensions.

Could anyone suggest a courier that could post it for under £100 including insurance to cover up to £2000?

Cheers,

BB

Insurance cover is going to be the problem.

Most courier firms will allow you to go up to £1000 for an extra cost, beyond that and it starts to become difficult.

That might need two...

Or you could get a cheap flight and take is as luggage, and come back empty handed...

I've just found out Parcel Force will deliver the item for £142 with up to £500 insurance or £178 with up to £1500 insurance.....seems like the best option to me.....

For those who delivery regularly, does this sound about right or can it be done cheaper?
