I'm going to be travelling to dudley in the next week or so, and as it has been doing the white fluffy thing recently, just wondering, what are the roads like round the brum area? any issues near dudley i should know about? going to jews lane if that helps!

mate no brummies actually speak like that (to be honest, thats black country which is a totally different accent)

modern brummies dont speak like the rest of the country perceive them to do so! Tends to only be the older generation that do, so it'll die out in 20-30 years

Thats Tipton Speak, if I have deciphered the written into spoken correctly, there are dialects in abundance here.
I was born/bred Black Country, there were different dialects in areas measured in streets.
At school, kids from around pronounced words differently and the same words used in a sentence often meant something totally different.
The origin was the trade in which the families worked, nail making, mining, iron foundries and in the main chain and anchor production. My grandfather, who died before I got here, worked on a team that FORGED the anchors for the Titanic, according to family history there was great rivalry between work teams that lived only streets apart and spoke totally different languages.
The current general opinion of the Brummie dialect is way off and is a result of media piss takes which are totally wrong.
