Engine Oil in my Saddle :(

I had a little bit of an oopsie..

i dripped a tube of used engine oil onto mu upturned road bike ( well the saddle anyway.. )

and now no matter what i do, i just cant get rid of it all from the tightening mech..

every single time i try to tighten the seat to stop it wobbling, it will loosen in under 3 pedals

please tell me i dont have to buy a new seat now

Soak it in degreaser?
