I’ve been talked into sorting the Halloween party out tomorrow night at my local and have everything sorted apart from the punch!

Anybody got any great Vodka based Halloween punch ideas?

Anybody else think this thread was going to be about something else?

Just put whatever you've got lying around in it, plus a bit of fruit juice. People will be so smashed after the first few glasses they wont care how it tastes!

A long while back at uni we made some seriously great punch for next to nothing (considering the amount we made).

Be bought a large plastic bin, cut a hole in it and attached a tap.

We then filled it up with (from what I can remember):

- 3 litres of vodka
- 3 litres of whiskey
- 3 litres of gin
- 20 litres of orange juice
- 10 litres of cranberry juice

Et voila! So long as you buy Sainsbury's value alcohol and juice, you've got a killer punch for next to nothing. It worked a treat and people incredibly loved it.

Keep in mind however we were poor students with 2 of them working at Sainsbury's and this was back in 2002. Great party..... hehe

You could fill a plastic glove full of squash (even add some food colouring to make it darker) then freeze it - and then have a severed hand bobbing around - same with freezing little toy bugs or gummy sweets in ice cube trays?

Decided I wouldn't do the jugs of cocktails this year (normally do and it can get messy....) and have instead gone for mulled wine and selected 5 cocktails that are vaguely Halloweeny (i.e. name or colour) and written out the recipes for people to make themselves.

Things like Bloody Mary etc.

i think i'm just gonna knock up a bottle of Vodka with Orange and Cranberry juice with some granadine and float a green hand in it.

i'll call it 'Hell Boy Sauce' !!!
