T350 12,000m Service - Anywhere good near Aberdeen?

Hi there,

Hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction of a good garage to have my 12,000 mile service done near Aberdeen. I was recommended a lad called Neol Flannery at V8 Sports and Classics near Edinburgh, but seems he's abroad most of the time and can't help. He did recommend Hexham Horseless Carriages though. But this is in Northumberland.

Any advice would be great.

I'm also from Aberdeen, but decided to go to TrackVRoad in Manchester and made a weekend of it.

I used to use Hexham HC for service when I was based in Aberdeen - well worth the drive down there as they do an excellent job.

Thanks for the pointers. And trust me, there is nothing i'd love more than to make a weekend of it, but i haven't been near my car in over 5 months!! Gutted. I'm working abroad just now and not likely to be back this side of Hogmanay. Instead i've left it to a now very enthusiastic mate to take, but he's usually pushed for time.

I've heard Draednought in Callender mentioned a few times, have you heard of them?

I used Dreadnought for my Tamora when I was in Aberdeen. Very professional and know what they are talking about but believe that some people have issues with the price. If the search is working you will find information on them.

I believe that there is someone in the northwest (Greenstar?) who collects the car, takes it to be serviced, and drops them back. Also comparitively inexpensive.

Unlikely they will come all the way to collect it but might be worth asking if they will meet your mate in Glasgow and he can get the train back.

Dreadnought are more expensive than most, but they know their stuff..

Though when I was emailing them when I was offshore, I never really got the feeling they wanted my business, so I went elsewhere

I have used Dreadnought two or three times this year, been really good and Claire knows her stuff that's for sure.

They are in the middle of nowhere but last time I was there got a bus into Stirling, wasn't too bad.

Going back next year for my 24K service.

Thanks for all the info. I think I'll give Dreadnoughts a call and get it sorted with them. Seems they're the ones who are best and for a 12,000 mile service i don't mind paying a wee bit extra.

I am about to buy a T350T and have a Chimaera. Dreadnought would be closest to you as they are in Callender not far from Sterling. They are not TVR dealers but experienced workshop.
I use X Works service for all my work. Their hourly rate is affordable and they are very honest straightforward chaps. Paul and Heath were Factory Service Managers so there is not much they have not seen. They are in Kirkham near Blackpool. Also they know all the guys from the factory who have set up on their own for different specialties. As an instance they got me a T5 gerabox and fitted it in 4 hours, turning me around in the same day so I was back in Scotland!! I also work in Oil, no luck!! Donaldosaurus
