Time to abandon 'Phonesafe'?

As it's being used on most sacm adverts anyway, what purpose does it serve? (does it weed out canvassers - does it succeed?)

It does help filter out scammers and canvassers, but it also has the added perk of being turned off as soon as your advert finishes - something which can be important in these days of google indexing and storing copies of everything it can.
