This is a really daft question unless, like me, you normally* travel light. 20kg allowance per person. Presumably I can have as many bags as I like?**

*Normally being prior to October last year***. **Within reason, clearly. I'm not planning to chop up my belongings and roll up at the airport with 1800 matchboxes to check in. ***Which makes this the new normal I guess.

It's a charter flight btw.

It will depend who you're flying with, details should be on their website.

It really depends on the airline they all seem to have their own rules

I think it's airline dependent - on the budget, no-frills then no. Charter flight, perhaps...Also, check your allowance is still 20kg.

I was overjoyed to discover that Tryanscare had switched the small print on me when I arrived at Marseille airport at 5am to the effect that I was only allowed 15kg and had to pay 15 or 20 Euros for each Kilo over. wkers.

What got me when I checked the FAQ of one airline was the rules for taking your own parachute.

I would imagine it will just be one bag, most of our charter airlines have moved onto a piece concept now. You will be permitted between 8-10 kg in your hand luggage don't forget.

I would double check to see if they will be charging for a pushchair for the little one. Are you coming up here to Scandanavia ? Plenty of snow around today !
