Anyone here fit winter tyres to an S-type R?
Discussion
As title, noticed tonight leaving work late, that the traction control lamp winked at me at really slow speeds, tyres and road obviously very cold.
Has anyone ever fitted winter tyres to one of these models? Would i get more than one winter from them?
I drive on a mixture of country roads/ A road most days, so feel i would benefit more than most.

I'd like to know peoples experiences too.
I tried and failed last year to use mine in light snow, I couldn't even get it out of the housing estate
It just wouldn't move, no matter what I did. I had the standard Conti's.
Suppose large engine, lots of torque and not that much weight over the rear wheels won't help.
Maybe some cement bags in the boot might help
, that or tyres that have a much lower working / operating temperature.
