After 3 and a bit years and 35,000 miles I haven't seen any wheels which look better on a Tuscan than the 18" Spiders. On Cerberas' and T350s' the SP12 looks great but IMO just doesn't work on the Tuscan.
So any suggestions for alternatives, or I could just get them changed to Anthracite scratchchin

I think the SP12's look great on any Tiv to be honest, I did think about changing my anthracite spiders over for them but ended up changing the front 2 for refub'd ones instead.

I recall seeing some lovely, unusual wheels at the Loton Park SP6 event a good while back - I think it was StillGrinning's Tuscan (Tony) but I might have that wrong. They weren't Spiders, SP12's or the Power ones but looked great.

Each to their own I guess,

Andy

I'm thinking of changing my Spiders to a nice 5 spoke alloy but can't make up my mind what type/style would look good. Be good to see what wheels others have put on their Tuscan's.

I agree with Andy, I think the SP12's on my Tuscan look fine.

Not mine I'm afraid - simple anthrasite spiders for me.

Oh blimey paperbag

All right [sits on fence] they do look good I suppose but just not for me [/sits on fence].

Personal preference and a TVR are difficult to describe sometimes.

Dean I forgot about yours, I do like them but didn't you have a problem with them when first fitted?

ETA: Thanks Ian, that colour those wheels the front grill cloud9

Hmmm, must have been someone else then. I'll have to trawl back through some old stuff to see if I can find them/him,

If Woody (Griftwood) is reading this, he might know who won the SP6 "event" as it was that car I am thinking of if I recall right, not to worry anyway..

Thanks,to be honest I dont know, they were on the car when i bought it,all i know is they have made in Germany on the inside of the wheel.I have asked a few people in the know to no avail.

I was told that my car was in a book called "British Sports Cars" by Konemann, and there it is with the wheels on,Big section on TVR (all models covered)not a bad read.
The book is quite a few years old so maybe they were on the car fron new ?

If anyone knows what they are please let us know thumbup

Hi John,
I had a few handling issue's,vibrations and the like,I had new shocks and a full Geo set up and was still there! so i sent the wheels off to be refurbed and one had a flat spot ! all good now thumbup

I agree that the Tuscan is one of those rare cars that only looks good with its original wheels. The SP12's look ok, certainly the best alternative but still not as good.

Anyone know where you can buy these wheels?

The 'works' ones from ACT look similar to spiders, but are much stronger. John Simpson used to have these on his sprint Sagaris. Looked spot-on. http://www.actproducts.co.uk/shop/index.php?main_p...

Only ones i would ever consider replacing my spiders with... thumbup

Any shots of them on a tuscan?

I was all for changing the wheels before I got a tuscan then I realised how good the originals look! If I was going to do anything I would get mine refubished in a darker silver
