Xmas presents for GF.
Discussion
It's getting to that time of year when we need to start thinking about what to get the OH for xmas if we A: don't want to be single by new year (Oh I wish), B: Want sex anytime next year or C: Want to avoid spending xmas with a glaring man goblin.
Moneys a bit tight this year so will be limiting myself to £100ish.
Now bearing in mind she gets spoilt all year round anyway (including free maintenance on her car), any recommendations, I'll do the usual and get her some perfume. I don't do buying clothes for this one as she's a funny shape, she listens to a bit of music but not much or I would buy her an MP3 player. She sadly has few friends or hobbies outside of me (why do women make themselves so dependent on one person?).
So aside from a bit of jewelry of some kind and a bit of perfume what do I spend the remaining £50 on?
Hopefully some of the sensible answers on here will help others out too.

I have noticed this also. Annoying isn't it. I can't think of anything to get mine as she has no hobbies. Annoyingly, she knows damn well I am mad about cars, but will she ever get me anything relating to them? Not a chance.she might not have hobbies/interests but you should know her enough to buy her something a bit different that she will know you had to put some thought/effort in.
when i'm completely stumped i log onto ebay and search for things that i know she likes and which might turn up something unusual. e.g. i was looking for mary poppins tickets for the west end for her and her mum, and ended up buying a first edition copy of the book to use as a christmas present later on.
i see you're a fellow yorkie. do you get over to manc. much? try here:

for her last birthday i went shopping in manc. hit the vintage shops, then the craft centre and a few other quirky places i know. bought about a dozen small-medium items, one main gift [handmade porcelain bracelet] and packed them into a vintage hatbox i picked up. the reaction was so good i can't wait for my b'day as she thought i'd spent a fortune and bought it over months rather than the 2-3hrs it took. only spent around £150 too.
giftwrapping is key as well with women. i tinfoil stuff for the family, but a little effort for the OH goes a long way. get some handmade paper from paperchase, its about the same price as a sheet of giftwrap but women can sense you actually thought about it. the details are worth more to them than they are to us, so use it to your advantage.
as a fallback option, how about lingerie? esp. if she's an M&S type. try myla or agent provocateur in the run up to xmas as the sales should get you the full works for around a ton. plus you get to play with it too
HTH, thats my sensible answer for the day used up

£50 on jewellery _and_ perfume? That sounds like high quality stuff
She's 20.
I've bought her one good bit of jewelry the rest are bits of fashion jewelry because her job/taking care of things doesn't match up well with real diamonds etc. Besides which I spent a fortune on the last gf and got repaid with her cheating on me. Money isn't the most important thing............. Finding that out cost me a lot of money lol!
I'm tempted by the spa day but knowing what she's like not sure she would ever book it and go to it. However my best friend has a similar gf (no interests outside of the relationship) might see if we can package the pair of them off for a day as they seemingly get on.
