I asked for it (best to approach a booth in a shopping centre rather than online or phone).

Also got a pair of G-Star Raw and a pair of Deisel jeans last weekend - £100 the pair.

This recession stuff is the nuts.

Sky is really suffering at the moment - the markets have marked them as one of the first to get hit (people fearing the pinch will cut subscriptions) and they have a limited delivery mechanism.

Of course, this isn't quite the reality anyway - lets face it, most people will be prepared to live off baked beans and toast than see their pretty HD TV go.

Ah, the new Britain - don't cha just love it.

Sky TV is one of those odd ones, people may well cut their subscription but equally a few may up it and turn Sky into their main leisure activity after a night out to the cinema for 2 is knocking £20 once you've bought tickets drinks and popcorn.

I would have thought their main worry would be Freesat HD.

We left standard Sky for Freeview and a PVR rather than go Sky+ and I suspect the HD viewers will start to do the same with Freesat when the recession bites.

Yes indeedy. It's high time the Murdoch creature and his lousy standard picture quality had a run for their money!

Also, I reckon as soon as the analogue service is switched off and all that bandwidth becomes available for digital services Sky should be dead in the water.

err... I ordered Sky HD through the website for £75 with free installation last weekend? Plus if you go through Quidco you get another £50 off, so £25 all in smile

Or are you talking about an offer for existing members?
