This company was recommended to me for a twin rear spoiler set-up (and obviously not for their bakery products!)

Nice I think I'd like to see one on the car 1st.
How much did you pay for yours and that about mounting?

I am thinking of getting one from them too.. 190 cm wide twin element "203" model... should do the job, I was thinking of a Porsche RSR wing but I think it look better with a twin element..

They claimed a 800 kg downforce at 200 mph with a 175 wide wing.... makes me worried if the rest of the car can handle it.. They thought it would be well balanced if I had a large splitter and big (relly big) LMP1 canards in the front..

Any thoughts?

The front splitter makes a significant difference at high speed.

Russ is using a Noble rear wing... When i spoke to him earlier in the year he was well happy with it especially as it cost so much less...

If they claim that I wouldn't use it, the rear clips have a habit of coming off as it is.....

The rose joints maybe rated at .5 ton each in shear, but the fibre glass is not.....

That kind of load needs to be put directly into the chassis, the rear clip will just not take that load.....300 kgs maybe 800kgs no way... this is a case of to much is BAD....

The rose joint isn't the weak point...as was shown in the bendy chassis mount thread.

Anyway - whats the point of downforce at 200? I want it at 80, round bends!

I will mount it straight into the chassis, like on the LMP cars.

So I am not worried abut that, more about getting the "legs" strong enough and finding a balance between front and back Downforce..

I want DF in 80 too, but I am sure that this wing generates a lot more in 80 then the stock Ultima wing..

why not adjustable wings like on Nissan GTR's... Am i right in thinking some of the jap cars have motorised wings?? Surely mount of the wing can be a pivot at the front and motorised at the back???corkscrew motor would take load??

When you mount the wing try and mount it as far forward as you can... I know it doesn't look as good but it helps the lesson leverage effect trying to lift the front.... thats what I'd do anyway.....

Will do that, Since I built an extention frame for the longtail I will try to mount it as far forwrd on that as possible..

The 12th set of pics on http://www.gurneyflap.com/lmsbarcelona08.html on the Zytec is what I am going for, if I can get them more forward I will try but I would guess that I will land somewhere around that angle, will have the same sort of endplates and the mount into the longtail.. should be good... ;-)
