Cold callers - is it just me.............

.....or do they all have a brother/uncle/dad/mate who happens to own/drive the exact same car/bike that's sat on your drive?

I've had it a number of time, 'oh, my dads got a fireblade exactly the same as that, and an R1'. or, 'love these Lotus Elises, my mate had one that he lent me for a week, great car' or, 'yes, I've had two of those in the past, fantastic drivers car'.

I've happily chatted away in the past, I'm just to trusting.

Still don't buy on the doorstep though!

I've had that too. I just say it could well be "their friends car as I have just stolen it.. mate. Look geeza I aint to good wid payin for stuff if ya know what I'z sayin?". Look tell you waht matey, can ya lend us a score, no make that a nifty fella cos I'm broke"..

By then they should be running down the drive. I should record these little scenes because I'm getting quite good at this now

Got so sick of cold calling by phone, once it's established it's sales, I don't even speak, just hang up.

I take great pleasure in telling them to fk off if they call on my mobile. Childish I know but tearing strips out of them is so therapeutic.
