Mk 3 Mondeo locking problem

I've got a bit of a problem with the central locking on the Mundano, during the last few weeks the car has started locking itself whilst on the move (Not on every journey and doesn't appear to be speed related), when i come to get out of the car only the drivers door unlocks, a few seconds later the rest of the doors unlock, also, sometimes when i lock the drivers door from inside none of the other doors lock.

Anyone got any ideas, its a 2001 Ghia X Estate if that makes any difference.

Ours does the same come winter... common problem. Various threads on meg that might be worth looking at.

Thanks for that, bought the car in Jan this year and it's been fine up until the last few weeks, did suspect the cold weather may have something to do with it.

Mine's had a dash bulb out since March, I've been putting off getting to it as it needs a fair amounf of dismantling. Anyway, it started working again on Saturday. They sort themselves out after a while

My fuel computer backlight's gone out recently as well!

My outside temp guage went out a month or so ago too.

It went out again today, knew I should have kept my mouth shut
