Anyone know this place? Any good? Still loking for a Birthday venue for my Mum and the really nice one suggested might be too far for some of the hoped for attendees.

Head past the Bulls Head on the tiny road to the left of it, across the common, then go into the Tigers Head.

Much better. More of a Gastro-cum-restaurant type affair. I'd say better for a birthday shindig.

Yep, The Tigers Head is very good.

The food is excellent as a rule, they didnt used to take reservations but wifey (a regular visitor) tells me you can pre-book now.

Only up the road from home...pop in for a cuppabiggrin

Thanks but not with my 80 year old Mum who has dementia! I'm not sure who would end up more confused, you or her!
