As long as the weather is ok on the day. Matchams Park can be a god forsaken place when it is wet and windy. Its not the cheapest way to take small child to see Santa but does look fun

We're going just before Christmas, had looked at the full lapland experience in the real place but the cost was just huge for even a day.

Was good but would be better if fine weather - rained quite a bit the week we went and the snow was'nt as good as I imagine it would be in dry. Had strot telling, eleves workshop, gingerbread making (great fun), real reindeer & huskys. Sure there was some other stuff but can't recall now - oh and try and go as late as you can with kids age in mind - it was better going through/back the woods in the dark - sort of added to it somehow. Wrap up warm though and there was quite a wait at the end for sana - that might be sorted now - think it was just poorly managed.
Also bl**dy expensive if you want to buy drinks/food there - strongly suggest you take a backpack with lunch etc.
Santa at the finale was great - should have seen the looks on kid's faces PRICELESS - still talk about meeting the REAL sant instead of one of his 'helpers' in shops/centres etc.

Matchams isnt even in the New Forest.
Its a pikey motox and banger racing track. Had barely a penny spent on it in 15yrs at least.
And £150 quid is a joke. You COULD NOT set up anything worth that much at that venue, if you spent a month trying.
Nuff said.

,there was another post on this last night
One of the other guys I work with is going tomorrow so will wait and see what he has to say before I decide whether to go on Sunday or not,worst case small child gets taken to this and then told that's a warm up and take her to the other one posted on here

was on the local news last night, they actaully managed to get a phone interview with the site manager...Pikey doesn't go halfway to describing this bloke. He was insisting that black was white and that a labour govt re-election victory was guaranteed etc etc.
The funniest thing was the picture the news showed of the 'nativity scene'
