It looks like the price won't be coming down any time soon, so I've decided to bite the bullet and get a 60Gb 360. The best all-round package I've found so far is £200 for the console with Far Cry 2 and Fallout 3 at Gamestation. Anyone know of any better deals anywhere?

I ended up buying the Gears of War set from Gamestation. I got the 60 Gb console, GoW, GoW 2, Fallout 3 and a wireless adapter for £230. Can't believe it's taken me all this time to wake up and get a 360. It's brill!

It comes with a HDMI cable too, but you can pick up a reasonable cable for a tenner. I'd have liked the extra disk space, but in the end, the £50 price difference didn't really justify the extra cost.

I thought it looked better in black! paperbag

But I did like the addition of a decent HDMI cable (I reckon a £10 is a bit stingy for one, I don't think I've seen one for less than £15) and the bigger HD was appealing for the update that'll let you rip games to it. smile

A £1 HDMI cable will look exactly the same quality as a £100 HDMI cable, provided its not going over 10 meters.

Oh and you can get Call of Duty 5: World at War for free with any xbox in Comet...
