1)where is the oil pressure switch located exactly? i had a holden dealer give a ecu diagnostic test and came up with this oil pressure switch being the problem.

the oil pressure switch is right at the back of the engine in the middle, just look down and you will see it. you need a deep 27mm socket to remove and replace the switch. a genuine switch costs around $120 Aus.

2) Where is the oil pressure senor on a ls1?

behind the intake manafold.its the round sender posissioned slighly to the passengers side.

According to a google search - from what I saw in other answers it appears you need to take the intake off to get easy access to it, however I'm sure the likes of Roger from Monkfish can advise if thats really necessary.

Don't need to remove the intake manifold. You would probably have to remove the engine cover if you still have it on there and move pipes around a bit to get at it.
They do have a bit of a fancy shape to them but the socket should work.
As mentioned they are on the passenger side screwed into the back of the valley cover, under the windscreen.
One of mine lasted about 6 to 7 years before it fell over.
