You can borrow my tent. I often sod off to the coast & camp on the beach overnight on my own. How I don't get murdered by a Norfolk yokel I've no idea.
I would recommend both Holkham & Crown Hotel, what a pain that they don't do single nights...
Surely not this time of year?? BBRRrrrrr chilly!

Shame about Byfords. I've not stayed there but have heard it's very good.
Make sure you stop in there for their famous home made cakes though
I'm not saying they are big but, you need jaws like a crocodile to get your teeth round them!
I've heard the Feathers Hotel in Holt does reasonable rooms although not stayed there myself.

we eventually plumped for The Hoste Arms in Kings Lynn.
It looks very nice, and we are staying at the Railway Inn, so cheaper too though the Vine looks lovely.
I'm booked in there early next year, i've heard good reviews about it. Let me know how you get on, it looks good.It looks very nice, and we are staying at the Railway Inn, so cheaper too though the Vine looks lovely.

No not at this time of year! I did it quite often June-September though to clear my head & eat lots of good seafood! If you get up early enough you can buy really cheap fish off the fishermen, mmmm, breakfasts were delicious!Naughty Magpie said:
