VW Polo Towbar query
Discussion
Hi all,
I bought a Witter towbar from eBay at the weekend, very good condition. It was described as fitting a Mk3 or Mk4 Polo. The fixings are horizontal bolts (4 off) which bolt through the chassis rails.
Checking on the Witter website for fitting instructions, it seems that this is for an 02-onwards Polo (Mk 4? details here http://www.witter-towbars.co.uk/towbars/vehicle_te... and that there is a different part number for the earlier model (I have a 96 1.4 SE which as far as I know is a Mk 3?). Does anyone know whether this will fit, before I start removing the bumper and messing about, or do I need a different bar (and a refund!).
Thanks.
