The plunge - taken!

So after several months of research, mostly on this forum, ive taken the plunge and have agreed to buy this little beauty from Racing Green, a 2005 targa in Midnight Blue - hats off to the last owner as its in great condition (he says with his fingers crossed for the future)and the RG sports exhaust sounds like the devils bellows! Am now going through that agonising wait period, luckily only til next weekend when I can pick her up... one way hire car booked, insurance dealt with and now only the 'misery' of a 3 hour inaugral drive back to Nottinghamshire


Chris at Racing Green has been great so far and my thanks to him for breaking my perception of the typical car salesman! Looking forward to joining you all in future contributions on this forum.

Despite the credit crunch, RG seem to be rather good at selling the cars....

Oooo I remember the wait, its all well worth it. Still it gives you time to plan your soundtrack for the drive back, but with those pipes I dont think youll have the music on ;-)

Don't bother. Reception is at best questionable and anyway the tune from outside is way better. I only use my radio when sitting still with the engine off, e.g. when you're cleaning it.

Nah, that was a 54 plate C with Anthracite wheels - nearly bought that one too back at the beginning of the summer.

The 20k killed this one for me !

I was out for a stroll in mine this afternoon, we've reached that point where the roads are permanently slippy - and will be until next March, especially if you're exploring your new steed's potential with the right foot. Please all new owners don't test the limits of grip while accelerating past 4000rpm in this weather!

Yes, picked her up yesterday lunchtime and brought her gently back up to the midlands; took her out again today but the weather was terrible and as Trefor says gotta be a bit gentle with the right foot.
Thanks to both past owners, Kevin and Matt, for their various emails giving me the cars full history and character and also to Chris and the service guys at Racing Green who were busy re-fibreglassing in place a new rear boot lock (which had broken its mountings) late Friday, so i could still collect her Saturday - worked their little pips off and did it for free for me - good on ure guys!
The exhaust note is fantastic - still havent put the stereo fascia in the car yet!

I bought my Sagaris from Racing Green in Jan 08, she has been a dream to drive, though Im overseas a lot evrytime I take it out it gets better and better

She has got 19" alloys on her now and she is looking good, looking for 2nd Saggy or another TVR make for my house in France

RG have got 2 Sags in the garage for sale now - chameleon green and a silver. The green one looks a lot better in the flesh than it does in pictures....

Just wanted to say congrats to Dave on his new car - excellent choice (but then again I would say that as until Saturday, she was my T350t!!). I hope you enjoy her as much as I did - I had a fantastic 2 years of T350 ownership, driving over to Germany for a w/e and also down to Zurich last Xmas, as well as our usual trips down to Cornwall to see the in-laws.

Also wanted to say a thank you to Chris and the team at Racing Green for making a quite painful process that much easier to digest, and for pulling all the stops out to get her sold. Making the decision to sell her was tricky, and having a team like you have at RG takes a lot of the stress away.

For now my TVR ownership has come to an end (Chimaera and then T350) and maybe some day I'll be back. But I will certainly never forget the sound, and I will miss all the attention, smiles and thumbs up that you get when driving a TVR.

They dont seem to be showing a green one on their site
