Just wanted your guys opinions on putting 6.0 or Murcielago Roadster wheels on a VT. I have seen the Roadster wheels on a 2wd/VT before so I'm sure it can be done. The 6.0 wheels i would have thought to be ok.

Any thoughts?

Will they sit correctly?

Any suppliers?

Regards,

Matthew

They look better than I'd expected. That said, it's nice to know a car has all it's original bits. Make sure you don't sell the originals.

No, that's a LHD car.
Mine has an SE30 front and rear spoiler and different wheels.

Lexus. Seriously. They look great (but with custom rims and caps I believe). He's also just had them back from the refurbishers today. Sun glasses on everyone! cool

The wheels are made specially by WORK Engineering.
They use Lexus centres with custom made polished rims to accomodate the steamroiller sized tyres.
Got them back today. Yes Pete, they are seriously shiny.cool

I've never liked the normal original Murcielago wheels but the the roadster and 6.0 wheels are two of the best designs ever created in my opinion.

Pete, thanks for posting, you just reminded me about those wheels. I love them and had completely forgotten about them. They suit the Diablo so well so I will enquire about them too. Any plans to sell the car?

I was thinking more along the lines of this, a little more modern and the sharp lines actually work really well for the Diablo.

Thoughts?

Thanks for the compliments MM.
Yes, I like them too.
No plans to sell the car.
I had two Diablos before, so am sort of bitten by the Diablo bug.

Hercules design isn't it? My Favourite wheels and another reason why I'm gonna get a Murci roadster. They look great on that Diablo.

In my opinion, Pete's wheels on his 2WD suit the car as well, if not better than any of the original Diablo designs, even though I love the roadster and SE30 rims.

Prepare to appear in court after a few old people die when they see it in their rear view mirror.

Not far off it Mr Steele, not far off it. I'm just weighing up what i will be doing to it and the pennies it will cost to get it looking super sweet, not that I'm after the ladies of course whistle

Pete's (Pompey Blue) car is a 1993 2WD car (the original diablo version). The rear deck spoiler has been changed to an SE30 model (high but with curved ends and adjustable fin). The front bumper has also been changed to SE30 model spec and the wheels described above. The changes really do the car justice. He got it from my friend Carlo who had the mods done.

I really think the murci wheels on older diablos make them look way more modern. I would definitly do this, changes them in a good way and wheels are simply to change back. As long as they are safe to fit i say go for it smile
