I want to stay overnight and leave my little car for 12 nights. Anybody got any recommendations?

Cheers.

How decent did you want the parking?
Stayed at the Rennaisance when we went to Indian Ocean, car left for 2 weeks, in hotel car park- gated at nights from look of it.
Nice inside, some leisure fecilities- jacuzzi and swiming pool, two restaurants, nice breakfast, rooms surperb, but then we did upgrade when we got there. Cost us £140 for room and two weeks parking, and a £30 upgrade for better room, breakfast, free snacks/coffee/soft drinks etc.
Bus to airport, took about 15 minutes and cost £1 or something silly, every 15 minutes.

Effingham Copthorne, about 10 mins shuttle bus ride from Gatwick, a room plus up to 2 weeks parking is about £100.

Normal rooms are £180/night.

Used to be not so bad last time I went there but that was 15 years ago or so.

Effingham park is quite nice as is the copthorne hotel.

We stayed at the Copthorne last time we flew out of Gatwick - might be worth a look.

I have done this a few times at Heathrow and Gatwick. I use www.superbreak.com and have found them to be really good value.

Sometimes you can take a punt on unnamed hotels around the airport - I got a 4* hotel with 14 days parking at Heathrow in August for £87.

I've used Holiday Inn a few times, which has been pretty good.

you would actually be welcome to park, youd have to get cab to airport but it would be less than £10.
When are you going and what time for flights?

Premier Inn Gatwick Airport South

There are several Premier Inns at Gatwick, but this one on the south side has no overhead air traffic so is lovely and quiet. Set into woods. Couple of minutes drive from airport.
