At a low end price, I would go for a Seiko. The one you posted is nice...very Kobold.

Seiko's are always a good bet at this price range, though it's a personal thing...here are some that I have found

Pilots Chrono - £100

Titanium Chrono - £100

Divers - £100

I've got a Seiko SXK007 as a sports/holiday watch which came in at just under £100 from a UK dealer with warranty.

Those Seiko watches look great and do not look any different from watches that cost thousands.

I have a Tag that broke down in the first year, fixed under warranty, but is broken again yet the warranty for this very expensive watch is for one year only. For that money it should be a lifetime.

Thanks guys, I'm surprised you can get such lovely looking watches at that price, will probably go for one of the seiko's then.

Definitely a Seiko, preferably automatic.

But the new Rotary Navitimer looks nice at £70 (pic. pinched from elsewhere).

Seiko would probably beat a Tag at Watch Conkers, too. silly

If money is tight and you like the idea of a Seiko, it may be worth looking at the J Springs range. J Springs are part of the Seiko empire. Check on Ebay or Watches2U. I picked up an automatic with unidirectional bezel, day/date and water resistance for less than £50 delivered...

Slightly over budget but am hugely tempted by this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SEIKO-F1-HONDA-RACING-Criter...
what do you think, is it that a fair price?

That is a nice watch, but be careful. If it gets caught in customs you are going to have to pay the import duty on top of the price and the postage. Would go for a Seiko as well, but look for one in the UK.

seiko every time - do watch customs though - Post Office (grrrrr) have a nasty habit of charging you a service fee that is often 2-3 times the actual duty payable and can put a significant dent on a cheap watch.
